Some Pinterest Finds!

I've been wasting more time than I should be on Pinterest today. I'm always looking for something else to try to bring more color into my dark living area.

I've been toying around with the idea of a DIY wreath for a while but I'm never sure what to go with. If I did one, I'd probably hang it inside the house. I'd hang it either above my accent table in the window, or on the back door facing inside. I don't have to decide right now.

But its fun to see what kinds of ideas there are to try - like these:

I love the blue bead wreath. The green one is made with acorns! Then there are the fun felt and yarn ones and even fun paper rosettes! The blue one is what I'd more than likely try first.

Another plan of mine is to add more color through pillows. I love texture in pillows, especially ruffle or flowered pillows! I might be in over my head but a part of me believes I could totally do it myself. Granted...I don't own a sewing machine, but that's never stopped me before!

I love all of these. While I know these would all take a lot of time...especially without the sewing machine, I think it can be done. Even by the likes of...me.

These are all "on the agenda" plans for future crafts but I love having the inspiration right there on pinterest so I can pin and click back to see how the pros put it together. I'm loving Pinterest!!
