*Since Blogger had a fit and decided to delete all of yesterday's posts...everywhere, I copied and pasted until blogger fixes everything.
Have you ever been just stuck about what to do next? As far as crafting goes I've been stuck for about two weeks. I have ideas, coming up with ideas hasn't been the issue. Hello - there are ideas ALL OVER THE PLACE with all the craft blogs out there, you have a limitless supply! The craft budget has been the big hiccup. Meaning - it's non existent right now. So if I want to come up with something I have to figure out to use what I have around the house already. My next projects involve spray paint. I have no spray paint. I'll need more than one can AND primer. That kind of puts a stop to my $5 and under plan. The other project involves playing copycat with another couple of bloggers and with trips to the fabric store and the office supply store...this also puts a stop to my $5 and under plan as well. So I asked myself - what do I have? I have acrylic paint at home. I have scrapbook paper. I have some fabric but no sewing machine. I'm running low on glue sticks... Ok...what could use refreshing/ updating? Aside from everything? Hmm...well my old table runner is pretty boring. How can I make that less vanilla? So then I went to Pinterest. And I did some searching...and after a few minutes of complete confusion and blind searching - BOOM! Someone else's creative genius has saved me and my $5 and under craft budget! Seriously Frau Haselmayer...this is going to sound weird, but I could kiss you on the mouth right now! Without giving too much away - here's a hint: Oh man I'm so excited now. And did you know that packs of paper doilies usually run about two whole dollars. Do you know what that is? That's a score, my friends. And since I'll have roughly around a bajillion left over after I'm done, look what else you can do with paper doilies, courtesy of Pinterest: Definitely copy-catting this canvas beauty right here. How to - found here. So many things to try - this is really only a small sampling. I'm a very happy girl right now!
