Actually, I should say I woke up on the cold side of the bed. You see, last night we decided it was a little warm in our place and we should totally sleep with the window open and listen to it rain. Well, the temperature dropped...a lot, and my husband is a blanket hog.
You might ask, "Why didn't you just get up and shut the window?" Because I'm never awake enough to think it through! I'm groggy enough to reach for blanket and pull it around me and then fall asleep again...only to wake up an hour later and do it again.
I still can't seem to get warm. The office is currently a nice 73 degrees but I still have my coat on and my heater going under my desk.
Last night before bed I started a craft project that turned out to be one of the most complicated ones to date. It still needs finishing, but it should be ready to go by tomorrow night or Friday morning at the latest. But right now, I curse it's name!
So now that I've complained enough about my morning and played pity me, we'll move right along to all the things I have a crush on this week:

Sydney from The Daybook who showed off her spicy footwear yesterday. She found them at Frock Candy, and after browsing for a while, I decided I might need to make a few purchases there myself. I'm also a big fan of that striped cami from American Eagle. I would wear it with a white tee underneath. Those shoes make me squeal as well. I'm loving Allora Handmade's necklaces even though her shop will be closed until the middle of May - boo! Love Stitched makes me happy too.

House of SmithsShelly at the House of Smiths...she is crazy talented. Her home is ADORABLE and she does stuff like this no sweat. I've decided to incorporate an aqua color into my living area (because the kitchen, dining and living room is all one big open space) and this would be a great way to begin doing that. Also - it sounds like this was pretty affordable. Dude, Shelly is so legit.

I bought an Allora Handmade necklace about a couple of months ago.. I got the mini-rosette in plum. I love it but they way she glued/sew'd it down, it looks like a U shape horse shoe necklace or something. I prefer more of a semi-circle. So I need to see if I can alter it a bit. I've only worn it once.
