Shopping?

I am in desperate need of new tops.  All of the tops I have in my closet are OLD.  They're worn and sad.  So little by little I need to add new and throw out old.

Of course, now that I've said that, I will not be able to find ANYTHING I like.  Because that's how it always works for me.  I only find tops I love when I absolutely can not spend money and then when I decide to spend some, I hate everything I see.  I think I'm cursed.

I just really wish that I could find things as easily in stores as I can find on polyvore.  And I wish I could afford the things I find on polyvore as well.  Even if I could, you still wouldn't find me spending $5,000 on a leather bracelet or $13,000 on jeans.  I don't care how much money you're worth, if you drop that much you're stupid.


So in the absence of finding things in stores I've played around on pinterest for longer than I care to mention and found these fun outfits.

I can't begin to tell you how much I want that fossil bag.  I know how much it is, I will not own it, that I'm sure, but oh it is so cute.  I would probably roll the legs of the jeans to a cuff because it's starting to get hot out.  Hot enough that I don't care how many people know how white and pasty my skin is.

Again with the adorable fossil bags.  I'm also not buying those Toms either.  Because I can't justify $70+ for flats. I don't even want to justify $20 for flats.  But I love the shape of the flats though!  I love the square toe!  I would need to mention those jeans would get the roll too.  It's a warm spring this year, guys.  What can I say.  I'd also do my hair up because in the mental picture I have of this outfit, not only am I super fit and can rock those jeans, but I have long enough hair to try out those cute up do's I find on pinterest.

Baggy tops can either be fun or a failure.  Because if you're not going for the "Is she pregnant?" look, you need to be careful.  That's why I'd tie that shirt down with a belt, to eliminate confusion.  Of course, in this scenario I would have a flat stomach as well.

I love that color.  I'm not sure that my skin color would allow it on me, but I do love the look of it.  And that top is cute enough for me to at least try on.  Again, I would have to be super fit as well to tie it off with a belt right at the muffin-top part of the waste.  

Alright, that's all for now.  I'm going to keep trying to find something cute enough for summer this week.  I don't have a lot of high expectations though because that whole "Artist" feel is still in full swing and well, I don't like it.  And it won't be one of those looks that I finally fall prey to after a good while.  I'm not giving into this one, folks.  It'll be like that year that peasant tops were in.  I hated that year, but I stuck my ground.
