But this was a fun project I did a few months ago that's a nice accent piece to my nightstand.
I got everything I needed at Hobby Lobby, which included:
Cardboard Letter (that's right...cardboard)
Scrapbook Paper (best get a couple extra in case you're like me and tend to mess up due to distractions)
Mod Podge
Applicator/ Brush/ or anything that'll get the mod podge on evenly
I traced the letter on each side, cut out and then cut the sides. I mod podged the paper on, put another coat on for kicks and waited for it to dry.
Once it was dry I took sandpaper to the sides because I wasn't pleased with the corners. But after a good sanding it was much better.
This is a fun piece for my nightstand to break up the black, white and damask.
Of course now my husband wants to get a new bed frame, nightstands and dresser...in brown....which means I might be back at square one as far as the black and white goes.
It's ok...I'm up for the challenge...I think.
