Happy Friday!

In case you weren't aware - this weekend is the season opener for Boise State.  This means a big huge Blue & Orange party that we're throwing that includes a TON of food and yelling.  Oh yes, there will be yelling at the TV - that's a guarantee.  We'll apologize to the neighbors beforehand.

With that in mind - and since that's all anyone can talk about around my house - enjoy some Boise Stuff!!!

Normally I would link up and tell you where I got this stuff, but since I know not all of the people who stumble across this blog are Boise fans, I'll just tell you really fast: Bronco Shop, The Blue & Orange Store & Lady Fanatics.  The Whistle necklace is from Forever 21 and the orange nail polish was found at Urban Outfitters.

I'll have you know that the middle shirts - I have the blue one being shipped to me as we speak.  Because a new year means a new Boise shirt.  That's just the way it goes around here.

And because polyvore is awesome - they had some great game day selections too:

Yes, I did check on those shoes and they're no longer available for that color where they were advertised at Nordstroms.  Boo.  Regardless, I'd totally wear this on gameday.  To work too, if they'd let me.  As it is I couldn't find any work-related blue and orange choices.  So you have to show your pride in other ways, right?

I would include shoes within this category but the only ones that truly fit are the Nike's shown above.  And honestly I can't find a good example and link!!

And honestly you don't wear heels to these kinds of events.  You'll break something if someone else doesn't already.  Fans are CRAZY!

Have a great weekend folks!  And know that I'll be biting my nails tomorrow night!  Go BSU!!!

I Heart Them: The Posh Event

*First let me just say: I have never talked to the head honcho at any of these Etsy shops. I haven't been asked nor do I get anything out of discussing these Etsy shops. I'm just telling you because I "heart" them.

Today you need to know about The Post Event.  They are based out of Ohio and specialize in adorable gift boxes and decorations.

I don't know about you, but sometimes when the packaging is so cute and pretty, I keep it.  Don't get me wrong, I'm no "Monica," I don't iron my wrapping paper to use again for another occasion, but I do keep a gift box if it's really, crazy adorable.  And these boxes - I would totally keep!

I'm not going to lie, I just squealed from the cuteness.  And how cute are those halloween boxes?!  Perfect for a Pirate Party too!  And my husband's family is all about celebrating National Talk Like a Pirate Day, maybe I should invest in these bad boys?

If you're planning a party of some sort you should take a look - these decorations are adorable!  And affordable too!

I Heart Them: The Cupcake Social

*First let me just say: I have never talked to the head honcho at any of these Etsy shops. I haven't been asked nor do I get anything out of discussing these Etsy shops. I'm just telling you because I "heart" them.

Seriously I could die from the cuteness!  I love party stuff like this!  I seriously want all of it - but I think I might just pick up a couple things.  That onesie cookie cutter is too perfect!

Giveaway Alert: Pier One Giveaway at Tatertots & Jello

I {heart} Pier 1. I love the colors, the design, pattern, texture - I could drop some serious coin in there every time I stop by. It takes a lot of willpower not to walk out with something. A LOT.

They have some awesome new outdoor items to prepare your yard/ (tiny terrace like me) for summer grillin' & chillin'. And to help you do that, Jen at Tatertots and Jello is giving away:

$100 Gift Card to Pier 1.

Yes, you read that correctly. Hop on over and take a peek!

Green Light!

My best friend is having her first baby in September. (Due on the exact same day as my brother and sister in law!)

Yesterday she gave me the green light to throw the shower. Well, it's not like she had a choice in the matter. When you've been best friends for 10+ years it's kind of like, "Hey, I'm throwing your shower...and you're going to like it!" I was kind of the same way with her wedding shower...

She doesn't find out the gender for a couple of weeks...but that hasn't stopped me from searching for ideas! Like her shower, I'll probably go overboard with decorations. (Long story, but basically her wedding shower had been planned since high school.)

Her baby shower will be no different.

Here's some inspiration I'll keep in mind:

Regardless of gender, there will be cupcakes. Oh yes, there will be cupcakes.

Tutorial Found Here.
I can't get over how cute these are! Too funny!!!

An ice cream sundae party! GENIUS! Especially since it'll be so hot!

That elephant is so cute. Complete with tutorial on how it was made - and it doesn't seem to difficult!

More cupcakes...no really - I make cupcakes for these events. Its my weakness.

Martha...obviously.
And of course there will be adorable little poms, pink, blue or whatever! I've been looking for an excuse to make them and it's arrived!!

Oh man...I have some time to plan and pick up things here and there for this event. But I'm so excited to throw this thing!!!
