Pinterest: Cause Allergies Suck

Here are some favorites from Pinterest this week.  I mostly get on Pinterest from my phone, so if the comments underneath the picture don't seem to fit, it's because I just repin, with no regard as to what's written below.

You go find old 70's landscapes and then paint monsters into them.  These would be awesome for little boys' rooms.  The ones who don't mind this sort of thing when the lights go out.  Because if this was in my room, I would have been frightened to death as a child.

You either think it's completely pointless and a waste of time, or you don't.  I wouldn't use this wallpaper, personally, but I like the idea of design in unlikely places.

Loves and loathes....

My tolerance level for my fellow man hit an all time low today. Maybe its just because its a Monday. Maybe it was run in after run in with poor customer service this afternoon but I am spent!

So this is how this is going to go. I will air my grievances and then move onto my favorites of the moment to pick up my mood. OK?

The loathes:

1. UPS. I hate logistics. Stop being stupid and start being helpful.

2. Having to cancel fun appointments like eyelash fills because of UPS and traffic. Don't even get me started on traffic.

3. Spiders crawling all over me while I was hosting my show on HGTV, trying to maintain composure for the camera! Who cares if it was a dream. It was awful!

4. Waking up my husband because I was wimpering in my sleep...because of said spiders.

5. Big colossal underground volcano of a zit on my chin AND cheek. Oh good...they're teaming up now.

6. Sticking my foot in my mouth...big time this week. I am thoughtless and insensitive and want to crawl into a hole. Big apologies won't begin to cover it. Always edit yourself before words come out!

Now the loves:

1. The Killing on AMC. Who killed her? Who?!  Don't even try to call when its on. I will not answer.

2. Victoria's Secret lotion in tropic breeze. Mmm smells like skittles.

3. This weather that's in the 80's. Yeah! I smelled fresh cut grass today and it was phenomenal.

5. My niece. I got to babysit her while her parents went to a movie. There was a stranger danger meltdown when she realized they were gone, but we walked to the park and sang Spongebob Squarepants and she felt better.  She is just an irresistibly cuddly ball of happy.

6. Chili's chips and queso. Don't judge, I had a hard day.

Finally a decent editing replacement!

So you know how Picnik.com is no more?  And I was all whiney about it?

Well I still went there today because I wanted to see what they were suggesting.  Google+ is trying to be a replacement but enough with social media!  So I tried the second suggestion - PicMonkey.

Guys...

I'm in love.

It has ALL the picnik stuff and MORE!

You can imagine my excitement because I went and took some shots of my super cute niece today and I am dying over the sweet cuteness.

See?  SEE!!!

Yes, she is quite cute.

I'm assuming at some point PicMonkey will start charging.  I paid for Picnik premium and as long as it's as affordable, they have themselves a new customer.

Lazy posting

I'm on my couch. It's been a rainy day which makes me not want to leave...so excuse the extreme laziness of posting from my phone because 10 steps to the computer is 10 steps too many.

I'm pricing out big fluffy down and down alternative comforters. I want my bed to look so fluffy and inviting that you just want to fall into it...or jump.  Because its so fluffy and comfortable its a must.  And I think a down comforter is a step in the right direction.

Random rant: Duvets? Really? You're a glorified sheet and you're demanding $200?!  Yeah...no thanks.  Except I'll need one to keep the comforter nice so quit being expensive!

I'm done now.

Anyone know of good deals on Duvets?

Or down comforters?

Broken Internet, Eyelash Extensions and 300+ Emails

I'm back, baby!!

I've had a broken internet for the past week and a half.  I haven't been able to access wi-fi on my phone either because I haven't been around free internet.  But kudos for locking your internet with passwords people, I've watched the news, we lock ours too.

I just went through over 300 emails.  The good news is that 90% of them were "Blank repinned your pin on Pinterest."  I'm glad you're all agreeing with me in Pinterest, but I'd really like to know how to turn off that notification.  Seriously - now that I'm back I'll have to poke around.  You know...and pin more stuff.

On a brighter note - I got eyelash extensions today!

Don't judge - it's not an easy task to take a picture of your own eyes.

And yes, I totally edited this picture like crazy, don't act like you wouldn't!

I would like to point out that I did not change the color of my eyes - that's my real eye color - you know, plain ole' brown.

 I know what you're thinking - "What a frivolous thing to do with your money!"  You know something?  You're right!  But my eyelashes look long and luscious and I just cut down my getting-ready time significantly.  We'll see how long this lasts...


Anyway - there are other things that went down like trying to surprise my husband for his 30th birthday and other stuff.  Unfortunately no crafts because I have not found the time.

Gym time has doubled recently because I hit that point where I decided I wanted to see a change - like, tomorrow.  So I've been at the gym for two hours every night.  No joke.  Well except Sunday.  It was Easter, and there were family gatherings to attend.


Which reminds me - a back breaking, make me wanna cry workout is calling and I must go.  But I promise there will be posts up soon.
